A projection-mapped television set had not yet been used for live programming. Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow, closely involved with SU2C, is a co-executive producer. SU2C was the star-studded finale to Channel 4’s weeklong campaign to raise awareness of cancer with Cancer Research UK.
Immersive delivered a set that changes with every performer. We consulted on the set design, how the performances worked with the projection mapped set, and how the overall look and feel engaged the audiences for the full 4 hours. Involving Immersive at such a fundamental level helped achieve a more holistic take on projection mapping that therefore retained a Channel 4 true-to-brand look and feel. The stunning set to complimented the star-caliber marathon evening of entertainment, fundraising and science …and also carries the style and quality of the Channel 4 brand.
The live fundraising event was hosted by Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Dr Christian Jessen and featured celebrity interviews and moving real life stories
